As a journalism major, aspiring educator, and student media leader at the University of Oregon, I'm passionate about building inclusive narratives and teaching others to find theirs.
Currently, I am honing my editorial leadership skills as the Print Managing Editor of Flux Magazine and helping to launch 'The Field Guide,' a new environmental arts and humanities publication, as its Production Manager.
This work builds on my previous experience as Managing Editor of Ethos Magazine and supports my ultimate goal: to teach high school journalism and English. I am also a Certified Journalism Educator through the Journalism Education Association, equipping me with the skills to bridge media literacy and classroom instruction.
Concurrently, I work in IT at UO University Health Services, adding a dynamic technical problem-solving skill set to my foundation in newsroom leadership and copy editing.
